I have an Elos Tank, 63"x31.5"x23.5" and I have been waiting for about two months now to make my decision on lights. I think it is time to finally choose. So, so far I have 4 candidates for my possibilities.
-The Giesemann Spectra 48" 2 250w MH and 4 54w T5s
-The ATI Powermodule 48" 10x54W T5s
-6 Maxspect Mazarra-P LED Modules
-3 Ecotech Radion

Here are the pros and cons to each fixture system in which I see corresponding with my system.

1. Giesemann Spectra
Pros: Shimmer, Metal Halide and T5 combo, good growth and color for SPS, and will be able to keep anything from LPS, SPS, and Clams.
Cons: Heat, bulb replacement, power consumption, less play with bulbs and color spectrum.

2. ATI Powermodule
Pros: Good growth and color for SPS and epecially LPS, and will be able to keep SPS up high and LPS down low, possibly clams, and will be able to tweek color spectrum to be a perfect color combination.
Cons: No shimmer, and bulb replacement.

3. Maxspect Mazarra
Pros: No bulb replacement, will have ultimate color pop with LPS, will be able to keep SPS,LPS, and Clams, will be able to achieve any color spectrum, no heat, XM-L LEDs, and shimmer.
Cons: Not really sure about growth with them, not really sure how SPS color up under them, and I don't know if color banding is an issue with them since they are not clustered.

4.Ecotech Radion
Pros: No bulb replacement, will have ultimate color pop with LPS, will be able to keep SPS,LPS, and Clams, will be able to achieve any color spectrum, no heat, clustered LEDs to provide less color banding, and shimmer.
Cons:Not really sure about growth with them, not really sure how SPS color up under them, fan placement is kind of weird looking, hanging kit only connects two modules wich means multiple hanging modules especially if I only need 3 modules, each unit needs it's own power supply which means multiple hanging cords, and no XM-L LEDs.

So, I will be glad to have your guy's opinion, reccomendations, comments, anything.
Thanks

So you are wanting a mixed tank correct? Also how do you like your tank to look color wise?

My vote is for the Giesemann. But I am very biased towards Radium 250W bulbs. I'll keep using them until they stop making them.
