Okay to use salt that's delivered busted?

I ordered a box of salt that was delivered today. However, it was delivered with a punctured hole and salt was leaking out out of the box. I'm wondering if I can still use it? I have a replacement coming and the rep says to toss or use it if I want. I don't want to waste it if I can still use it.

Use, maybe transfer it to a bag or storage container to help keep it a little more air tight though.
