After reading the other review I decided to swing by there today.
The price of admission was $15.12 after tax per adult. Kids under 2 get in free. I think from ages 2-13 it's $10 but I'm not positive.
They are open every day except Christmas from 10am-6pm. Tuesday's they are open later.
They have several areas where you can touch a few different animals (all of which are saltwater). You can feed turtles and stingrays if you purchase the $3 food from them.
Multiple times a day they have a large shallow tank that is stocked with rays and sharks that you are allowed to pet.
They have a large shark tank with a tunnel you can walk through. A couple times a week they feed the sharks I happened to be there for one. The tunnel was full of people and the "please be quiet" sign had no affect
.
My overall feeling for the place was that it was good but was lacking in a few areas. There were two tanks that had a barricade around them because it looked like there was water damage and some drywall was torn apart. Several exhibits were under construction.
And now for some pictures.
I felt his tank was a little small
Stone fish.
The biggest starfish I have ever seen. It was probably 2' or more across!
I was taking a picture of this guy.... (I assume it's a flounder)
And then a camera hog wanted some attention
Some things in a petting area. You weren't supposed to touch the nems.
It was hard to get a good shot of the rays. They were very excited.
