check out the size of this colony.. if I remember correctly, it was 7" x 7"...

it was great for a frag tank and I think it'll be awesome for my main system..

you guys think the lights are too blue? that is the 250w MH w/ 10K BlueLine bulb..

That's some 10k bulb thats a little more blue then my Hamilton 14k 250....

I guess that's why they get they're name BlueLine...

Did you like them? I will have to replace my bulb here soon, and might want to change and try something differant as far as 14k goes. Those look like they might be 14k but 10k labled, maybe/maybe not still pretty blue thats what I want.

it says 10K on the bulb itself... my bro had them lit for about 8 months on his old set up and I had them lit for another 3-4 months so I would say they're pretty good bulbs..

I might use the same bulb for another month or two while I'm getting started but I'm getting the 20K XM's after...
