Old bulbs... Recycling

Just wondering what everybody does with there old bulbs? I know we mostly sit on them in case one burns out, but what about after that? Must they be brought to a recycling center or what is the protocol for them?

Just an idea for the club, but we could have everybody bring there old bulbs to a meet and one of us would bring the lot to where ever they have to go.

flourescents can go to menards for recycling, but i think that the MH's and sodiums need to go to Outagamie recycling center up on northland.
