I found a pair of ESV B-Ionic Calcium Buffer System bottles that I bought about 5-6 years ago.

They were never opened since I didn't have the corals to warrant dosing at the time.

I now have a good amount of SPS and LPS.

Question: Can the Calcium/Alkalinity buffer go bad/ is it safe to use in my current set up?

(The bottles look clear and sediment free. They have been stored in a dark basement with relatively constant temperatures for years.

I am also hoping dosing this will help balance my Calc/Alk a little too.

Calcium is high and Alkalinity is low at the moment

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

It is fine to use and never goes bad, except for possible precipitation in the alk part if it gets cold. You can redissolve it by warming, if needed.
