Old fiji pink sand in buckets

Im starting a 160 peninsula fowlr. Everything was on storage unit for months, rock and sand specifically, which was previously a established setup. Im bleach soaking live rock, but what anout this sand.... any thoughts or experiences appreciated

Just rinse it out and it will be fine. If you never rinsed it in the past it will be very dirty and take a lot of time. If it was brand new in the bag it would be very dirty and also take a long time to wash.

Filling a bucket 1/3rd to one half depending on how fine the sand is and how comfortable you are lugging and dumping heavy buckets of sand will work great. Do it outside so you don't have any go down the drain and you can just let the hose run until it's clear with some mixing up every now and then. Sand is basically always dirty unless you just washed it.
