Hello All,
I bought a Innovative Marine 16 gallon in 2012 and had it set up for a while (about 6 months) but had to break it down due to moving. I am settled more and wanted to start a nano tank back up. After about 1 1/2 years with this tank broken down, I wanted to see what new equipment was out there for this tank. All I read is that it is a discontinued tank from IM due to catastrophic tank failures-mostly cracking around the curved edge or with the AIO back compartment coming off due to bad silicone. What is the latest news on these tanks? Is anyone using them anymore. I cannot afford to have a leak in my house. Do I chance it or just scrap it and start with a different nano tank? I sent IM my serial number to see if my tank was one of the ones with problems but have not heard back from them yet.
