im getting back into the hobby and I just purchased a 32 gal bio cube got it all set up and cycling with two really good pieces of live rock in it. My question is when I pulled down my old tank I saved all the rock I had. It has been sitting in my gagarge in a bin for about 1 1/2 years.
Is this rock reusable in my new tank?
If so what steps should be taken to put it in my new tank?
I have some really nice pieces, and would be sad if I had to throw away. Hope and dream is I can get some advise how to use this old rock..

For sure you can use it.
Depending on what was on it is how to go about cycling.
I would clean it with a pressure washer or something to get off all the dried up crud and dust. Toss it in a bin with heat, saltwater and powerhead. Test for phosphates in a few days. If none. Add ammonia and some bacteria in a bottle and let it rip. Should be good to go in a month or so.
