Old MP40 QD (2012 )

I have an old MP40 QD I’m looking to use on a new set up. I remember there being a silicone gasket between the dry side and the glass. I can’t find it . The glass is 1/2” ( 12 mm). Is it ok to use without the gasket ? Any suggestions?

Yes, you can use that without the gasket - I did so for years.
