About 4 years ago I purchased a DSA 105 (48x24x20) which was brand new, never seen water, with stickers still on it. I had plans to set this tank up but as life goes sometimes, it didnt happen. The tank has been kept in a temp controlled storage unit all this time. We will be moving into a new home thats been completely remodeled. I guess for piece of mind Im looking for reassurance that this tank is fine to set up and that the seams havent gone bad or something lol. Im just paranoid for some reason bc my wife would kill me if this thing sprung a leak haha. Is there a way to check the integrity of the seams?

Sounds like it should be fine. I’d just do a leak test outside to make sure. Good luck!

Ya, just fill it up with the garden hose outside or some place Water friendly and easy to dump, leave it for a day or so. But that fact its never been used and kept from harsh climate swings means youll likely wont have any issues. Have fun and welcome to the adiction ;Woot

Agree with everyone else, just fill it with tap water for peace of mind outside somewhere level. Should be as good as new (since it basically is).

Thanks everyone, Ill give it a water test outside for a few days just to make sure. Is there anyway to visually see if the seams have deteriorated at all?

Between a good visual inspection, running your fingers over the seems and a static leak test, youll be more than fine.
