Old quarantine as sump

I need a sump and all I have around is a old quarantine tank . I did use copper and other stuff in it. How can I remove the chemicals if any left it has been setting around for a year

I'd do a rinse in vinegar and water, then rinse it again twice with just water

I was bout to do that actually lol . I did here copper can get in the Silicon and leach out but I don't know

What size is your display tank? Even if it does leech it would only be a tiny bit, if your main tank is big enough there shouldnt be any bad effects on inverts
