Old Reefer back in the game

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm back in the hobby after a 10 year sabbatical. Just a few bumps in the road. Currently have 90 gal reef that's been up since May, so 6 month's in and I think it's looking good

Welcome aboard ;)

Welcome RJ ! You will enjoy this forum. Your Tank looks great. Any noteworthy changes in your tank plans?
Thanks Cracker, I thought I had planned this tank pretty well. Already thinking about expanding to a 150 for a couple of reasons. I purchased a sump large enough to expand and have found it did not leave me much room under the tank. This has led to equipment and supplies being stored in the boss's space. I'm debating this upgrade though, since I'm not sure if it would be better to wait and let stuff grow until I have to move the corals or if it is better to move sooner and let the coral grow into the new space.

Welcome to R2R! Great place with awesome people. A lot has changed in those years!
That is so true. I can't believe the technological advancements. LED lighting is amazing and having things computer controlled and monitored is great.

Welcome to R2R!!! Regarding moving the corals to a new tank, you would be better off doing it sooner rather than later, as they grow in response to the tank conditions, so the more accustomed they are to the current conditions, the more change they will experience when you move them to a new tank which will cause more stress on the animals. Besides, Black Friday is right around the corner, so you might find some awesome deals for that upgrade!

Remember: YOU DONT GROW OLD BEING A FOOL. Welcome back and although many changes over the last decade- its actually improved in the hobby with equipment and necessities
