I am ramping up carbon and silica dosing and sponges are exploding all over the tank, however i have only seen more of the same sponges, not have entirely new kinds appear after almost 2 years.
Except for these, i see two so far about an inch apart. They are very soft, prodding them with a soft silicon tube bends them as if theres nothing there. The red part ontop is unrelated i think, probably cyano.
New sponge?Tunicate? Something else?
