I have been in the hobby off and on for 30 plus years first time Apex user, this old dude is technically challenged. Set up my Apex yesterday ( new version) and have the following issues

Salinity calibration would not work, followed directions and failed three times. Gave up and installed it anyway and continue getting alerts
I have the display unit ,it hooked up OK and I presume is reading everything OK but the clock time is different from what is showing on my fusion dashboard ( display is 2 hours behind)
I hooked up my refugium light, it will not come on in auto setting . I double checked settings to come o at 10 and off at 9, the only probe that would shut it off is the temp and it is set to shut it off at 81 degrees but tank running 78. If I switch it to manual setting it will turn on and off but will not work on auto.

I am sure these are simple fixes and user error, like I said I started in this hobby and all we had was a mechanical timer for lights. Any help is much appreciated

Bump for you Mike.

For the clock, did you setup the time zone properly. Click the cog icon, then clock icon to get to this screen.

I notice that if I'm in another time zone than home then the web apex screen will show both times.

As for the salinity probe, I've seen others on the forum that had a faulty probe so you may want to contact support.

Lastly, when it comes to the light, you may want to check which plug you have it plugged into. On the apex energy bar there are some that are mechanical switches and some are not. The ones that are not, will sometimes have a problem turning on when the attached item is a very small load. They say not to use for things like doses because it may or may not turn on/off.

Hope this helps with some of the issues.

Do you have the new Apex or the Apex Classic? At what point during the calibration process is your salinity calibrating failing at? For the time being, I would shut off the alerts for that probe so it doesn't drive you crazy. Regarding the clock, have you check the clock settings through your display? You should have Autoset enabled and have the correct time zone (as well as daylight savings settings) selected. Can you attach your programming for the refugium light outlet? The apex can be a little overwhelming until you learn how it operates.

It was the time zone that was messing up the clock and also messed up auto timer on fuse lights.
Thanks guys
