Picked up a decent size frag of this, this past winter. Came in pretty bland on color. Slowly it is starting to show some faint highlights of pink, blue and yellow once the halides and T5's are off and it is glowing under Reefbrites which is giving me high hopes. The best images I have found are from the original @reefbuilders article from 2014. https://reefbuilders.com/2014/05/07/bali-shortcake-rosey-colored-acropora-latistella/

Anyone have this piece and want to share pics?

Its such a sweet piece when its colored right. Loses color when its fragged for a week or so. But a nice piece.

Where was yours originally sourced from?

I wish I would have known, that should have been included in my pack ;)

Mine came from House Of Sticks about 3-4 years ago or so. He got directly from Unique Corals if I recall correctly. I also have one that is almost identical to that one I got from TSA Aquatics about 3 years ago. All the same colors.I will post a pic.

What par level would you think is best to get those fantastic colours and the flow it likes. I have 30 inch deep tank with Radion lights would it be placed high or mid level?

Mine sits around 300 par. High flow......in my experience always high, high, high flow. My tank turns over 150x plus an hr.

Still waiting on that pic ;)

Been the hunt locally for one... love those yellow tips and rosey body.

Should be a lot of pics since they mariculture them. I don't see much of a difference from the pics, is there?

Actually doesn’t seem like there are many around.. or collectors growing them out. Not sure why, it’s such a beautiful coral :)

This was mine last April. Unfortunately it did not fare well when I had some tank issues and today only three bleached out frags remain.
