I have always been intrigued by salt tanks and had one in my aquarium shop back in the 1980's. I came across an Mid Century Modern custom acrylic 125 gallon tank at the beginning of this year. I'm fascinated by the major improvements in control systems making it simpler to maintain parameters than just salinity and temperature from the '80s. So I've spent the last ten months researching and acquiring the electronice, lighting and drinking the kool-aid! I was amazed by my first local vendor and frag show this spring. I've taken time along the way to document the build and will share it in a week or two. I'm in the process of building the water mixing station that proceeds getting things wet for the first time. Went full Apex and intend not to carry buckets of water and have two QT tanks waiting in the wings. Did I say I'm getting excited and impatient? I have a bedroom stacked with stuff to incorporate into this mess. A bit overwhelmed...
