Old silicone...

You said your window. do you mean your fish tank or a window in the house? are you looking for help trying to fix the leak?

Had to cut out the window for the second time. First time took 4 days with guitar string. This time took about an hour. Feeling relieved and awaiting new tubes of silicone.

@ScubaDan206 - Welcome to R2R!!! Is that a plywood tank? Tell us more about your system?

I ended up cutting a new piece of wood for the front. Dried out the wood and glued it back together. Screwed and glued the new piece in over the old. Re-do all epoxy and siliconed new glass in place.

System is about 450 gallons. Standard 120 upstairs and plywood sump downstairs. Sump is 8x4x30 inches tall. Both empty at the moment.

The tank upstairs is a standard 120 Aqueon. I did a custom overflow.
The plywood was ruined on one section. I cut out 11 inches of wood and cut the glass out. It took 4 days and the most effective tool was the BFH. New glass is 60 inches, and like my thread starter, I messed up the silicone and need to start again.
