Old tank refinished...came out pretty nice

I like how the new, darker tones shift the focus from the frame, stand and background to the environment within the tank.

Why you say that? Just because of water changes and stuff? I've got it down to a science with my 32g barely ever see spills [emoji51]

And thanks for the nice comments. I'll be buying a house beginning next year and would love to put a Red Sea Reefer in it but I wanted to refinish this tank so it can be a nice predator tank once we get moved [emoji41]

You just need to be super careful.

Moved the rocks together and added more to the left. Just need to get a few more tomorrow for the right. I like this much better adds a lot more caves and swim threws for fish

What did you use on the wood grain trim? I am doing the exact same thing on my current build.

I sprayed plastidip the. Used an interior water resistant paint on top of the plastidip

Also the back glass I lightly dusted with plastidip to give a texture for paint to grab onto. Then rolled with black paint.
