Anyone out there with tanks set up for 5-10+ years? Seems like I start reading build threads, and then In a couple years they tear down and get out, or tear down and go bigger. I'm wondering if there is anyone out there who has stuck with the same tank for a long time! Post your tanks!

I service a tank that has been set up for 25years...it has all the old equipment surrounding it in the basement even, from old....old barrel bioballs to devices which I cannot comprehend why.

With that said, the tank has its ups and downs...phosphates are usually constant..no matter what we've tried to do, same goes for a nitrate level of 20 that seems stable lol and has become the norm. The doctor is a great guy and one of the best people I know, he loves his life and his tank. He has mostly all his 'trophy' fish from when he started actually which we all try our best to keep going.

Fot myself, im working on my graduate studies and have moved between schools so I cant have a stable tank in one location but finally settling down after graduation so I was able to set all my babies back up again!!

My 75 gallon tank will be 5 in May. I upgraded after year one and have had the same tank since.

8-10 years old, my brother started it and I took it over basically, had no Coraline growth until I took it over about a year and a half ago, just a fowlr
