TLDR; silicone on tank is a little suspect should I replace even though it’s been fine for years?

I picked up a used Solana with a very nice stand about 5 years ago from a guy moving. Since then it’s been fine and even made a move with me in that period.

Perhaps the silicon has always been this way but I only recently noticed that some seams seem thinner than others.

I thought I’d go ahead and replace it but finding a 20x20x20 cube is very difficult. Aquamaxx had one but have been out of stock for almost 8 months.

The only one I’ve found is some no name one on eBay for local pickup.

Has anyone experienced an older rimless tank failing? Did you notice anything off beforehand?

Thanks all!

Friday Bump for all you working hard from home and just taking a "short reef2reef break" :)

I had a solana running for a while and had no issues with any of the silicone. Biggest issue I had was the way the overflow and skimmer worked. I took the tank down tho after a year. and if you’re still in need of a tank was going to post it
