Omega 150 on a 40b?

Found good deal on a vertex omega 150 and I was wondering if it would be too much of a skimmer for a 40b with a 20L sump? I have a RO110sss right now that I am planning on using. Should I go with the Vertex and sell the RO or just stick with the RO. BRS recommends them for as low as a heavily stocked 60g.

Old message but is too much skimmer a really a thing? Kind of like too engine or too much money! Lol
