Okay so I wanted to better suppliment my algae blenny beans diet as well as help feed my new addition scoops (a scopas tangs with a full grey face and black body) and while at petsmart because BOTH my lfs stores are closed on sundays. I came across the omega one seaweed strips. 24 packs in red and green. Having the same nutritional values, I started to wonder. What exactly would be the difference between the two besides color? Am I missing something or am I over thinking the entire purchase? Curious...[emoji15]

Overthinking. It's all freeze-dried or toasted seaweed. It's a good thing to offer, and good to be systematic about it, but it doesn't substitute at all for the main part of their diet. It's just a healthy snack. :)

Usually the unique feature it offers is that it's a form of time-released food since some fish will pick at it. However, many tangs and other fish will just mow down a patch once they're acclimated to it....in those cases, for the time-release factor your tangs are probably better off with an auto-feeder using high quality flakes along with whatever fresh or frozen you feed manually. IMO. :)
