Tell me about it. I was going to help a local friend and just pick up a couple of pieces to help with shipping. She was a little short on the cutoff. Well, turns out I'm getting three times as much and blowing the cutoff by myself right out of the water. I got problems. I don't even have room for all this stuff. what the heck am I doing?!?!?

Grows faster than my birdsnest....

A little over 4 months. The bigger it gets the faster it grows. Excuse the superglue repair and poor color in the second pic, this was a few days after I busted it up with a rock slide lol. GLOWS under blue led. I'm talking nuclear.....

High flow and moderate light. It's on the bottom of my tank, not because I thought it would be happiest there but that's where it ended up. Good flow though, that's probably why it's so bushy.

i went blue+ but hate how washed out everything looks so ill be going all pure actinic

its like tinting a canvas in photoshop with a sky blue color. it washes out all the other colors and forces a shade of blue.

my red planet went from red to magenta/purpleish

I've been running a couple strips of high output LEDs but I just bought new metal halide fixture a couple days ago so I'm gonna see if that does anything for me

@Russ265 what kind of lighting are you using? Everything in my tank grows fast except branching sps, they have good color just not really any growth.

How big are they? If they are just frags, it may take a bit of time before they start to "branch". Once they start, it seems like it happens pretty fast, but unfortunately most frags you have to sit there and watch them base out for months. The larger the frag you start with, the faster it happens. That's why I usually will pay more for a larger frag or at least request them and offer to pay more. They will all get there, but it may take 6 months for a nub to reach large frag status. A lot can happen in 6 months

Yea maybe, I've had my tank up 1-1/2 years oldest stick that's has branches is a couple months so fingers crossed
