OMG strawberries in my tank.

Just picked up a strawberry crab to replace my jerk of an emerald crab. These lil guys are soooo bright!!

Any tips on these guys!?

I've heard of people finding some funny things that people have found and I couldn't wait to hear how strawberries ended up in the tank.

I’ll be dropping him/her in in about 30ish. Hope it doesn’t just scuttle into a rock so I can get some shots.

Google “strawberry crab reef safe”. I just did and it seems people have mixed results with them being reef safe.

I have a big one. His body is about inch and a half wide. Never had any problems with him. He comes out mostly at night. He picks up every empty shell or small rock and drags them to his cave to barricade himself in. It’s pretty cool.

Oh yea, already knew all that but, my emerald crab was supposedly a similar temperament and he nearly stressed my seabae nem out to death. To the point my nem was “running away” from the crab and the nem killed my Duncan and hammer corals when it decided they were a good spot to hide.
Soooo always good to ask people’s experience, other than the typical info available.
