Is anyone else having trouble using this forum? It’s super confusing and hard to read about stuff and post. I just can’t get it. I have no idea how to start a convo about something and I can’t tell how recent the posts are. Ugh it’s more work than the reefing lol

Well, welcome. Not sure how you are finding it difficult. But I just go to the bottom of the post I want to reply to and hit reply. Then stary typing to reply. Newest reply is last in the line. The bar above the reply shows when the reply was made...Best of luck.

Welcome!!! Hmm....should be straight forward...but there is a learning curve for everything! Hope the pic below helps...

@Mr Mumblez

It takes awhile, I still haven't figured a lot of the features. I have poor eyesight but I have discovered that randomly using the icons in the ^above list ^ is an interesting way to explore the features of the site. Using Search (see the SEARCH icon up towards the right corner) is also useful, but a lot of the icons are a mystery to me still.

Don't worry. If you click something wrong the mods will not flame you. Just don't admit to having 4 tang fish in a 20 gallon. But you'll figure this. Welcome to Reef2Reef!

Using the colored giphy icon right up top... ^^

+2 on clicking the lightbulb button to make the colors darker!

I've accidentally done this a few times before and i've always wondered what/how did I do that? I closed down the site and restarted in the past :) Now I know what the "lightbulb" icon does.

Is there an algae icon?

same here first few days"nights" trying to answer messages ,bam ,bright light, :rolleyes: you will get hang of it quick;)

and welcome to the reef going to love it here!!
lots of fun/info/fun/help/fun...

Welcome! This forum used to have a different look and navigation. It was upgraded sometime ago. I found it a little tricky at first but as I got around, I realized it’s quite easy once you get a handle of it. Just have fun posting messages and you’ll get it.

Welcome to the group, try not to be overwhelmed. I started by watching all the BRS TV videos I could. Made a plan and budget and got after it. Not sure what your experience level is but theres tons of info here. You can either:
  1. search for your issue/question on google "Whats the bets way to increase salinity gradually in reef tank". and you will find many results some or most of which are on R2R
  2. search exclusively in R2R by the search > Advanced search tab (Upper right of web page).
  3. Create a thread to ask a question. Its likely that its been asked before but folks here are friendly and can point you in the right direction.
Best of luck to you!
