OMG!!! what's this in my tank?

hello guys
i've been hearing clicking noise for about 8 month , then i understood something like a worm was in my tank and i have lost some turbo snails and a red flam fish which i have never found its body even on overflow or under rocks,so i set a trap and i got this creature .please take a look at these photos and tell me what is this ? is it the reason of disappearance of my fish and snails ?

Cool! You got a mantis shrimp! They're definitely predatory, and they'll take out anything they can eat. But still a super cool find! Lots of hobbyists keep them in nano tanks dedicated to them.

Bring him to a LFS if anything. If you have a refugium, put him into retirement there. Too cool...

So now that you got it. . .what are you planning to do with it?

Suggestions:

• Start a small nano or pico to keep him in. They are very entertaining and there are lots of videos online of mantis shrimp kept in a species tank.
• Let him reside in your sump/fuge
  
• See if your LFS will take him on trade
• Offer him up for sale or trade online - there are people who I'm sure would take him off your hands

I would set up tank for it, or find another hobbyist that wants one, or put it in the sump.

They are really quite intelligent for inverts.

That thing would get bigger and eat everything it can get hold of. But that looks really cool. You could setup a small nano tank just for this guy.

Depending on species they turn into real pets like puppies. Mine would come to the glass all excited when he saw me waiting for food or treats. Very personable critters. I'd love to accidently find a tiny one again
