Log time lurker first time poster!
It's been a long few months but I finally made the plunge into the world of salt water. My best friend has had them for years and I was always to scared to really make the jump. Been a long time freshwater guy with some massive cichlids but now I'm very much into the saltwater game!
So far I've cycled my tank and have started my collection of new and wonderful things!

Already planning on upgrading the return pump piping. I've extended the overflow pipe so it sits very much into the water. The noise was killing me. Running a Chaeto refugium right now. The grow lights went in today so hopefully they will start kicking! There's a heap tonne of pods growing now so that's a good sign. Added a bag of Phosban and Purigen to help keep the water in check. Will be looking to post more update photos as the tank develops!
