? on JBJ 12 gal LED

I just got my tank! Filled it with water for a leak test, started the pump and turned on the lights.

I can't find the moon light. My old JBJ has this big, black box with a switch AND theres a switch on the hood. I think one worked the day lights and one the moon lights.

There is no black box with this one and only 1 switch. Does it have moon lights?

Okay, so I have come to the conclusion there is no moon light. I'm a little bummed out. I liked the lookof the moon lights. I double checked my old lid and there is a strip of led lights between the CF bulbs.

So is there any way for me to add a strip of leds for a moon light? Anyone know why the new tanks don't have them?

Idk how the light is situated on those tanks, but you can get strips of LEDs from eBay for $12-$16 a foot depending on wattage that you super glue or silicone in place. Like eBay-ified stunner strips.

Oh cool. I would only need a foot. Stupid ?- are they plug in or like a battery?
