just trying to figure out what these little blobs are in my refungium. They don’t move much and occasionally they will contract into the central circle and then expand again. Pretty sure the stick thing towards the bottom is a pod.

Probably sponges. That bottom one might be a pineapple sponge. Score: filter feeders.

It's very hard to tell from the picture, but common sump critters could be limpets. Any chance at a better picture?

I just tried to scrap one off with a tiny razor blade... they don’t move very fast and seem to stick to the glass. They when I tried to pick it up it basically disintegrated. Sorry I need to get a macro attachment for the phone before I can get a better pic.
