Glad to have you following my best estimate is mid summer for it to be wet. Got a long ways still to go.
So now yesterday was an exciting day and eventful. FedEx messed up and my shipment did. It make it out for delivery. Well that just wasn't exceptable to me you know hold gear hostage from a reef tank addict. So I found what facility it was at and drove my butt down there and picked it up.
I was like a kid on Christmas morning super excited to get this stuff. I orderd it back in November. Let me say bashsea did not disappoint me

Awesome! Beautiful! The only down side for me its the screw to close the lids for the reactors, and skimmer. they so annoying to deal with! Cant wait to see it running!

They are a pain but I have broken to many of the other types that twist. I find these to be more durable. I can't wait to see it wet either. Still have a lot more stuff to buy. I'm planning the plumbing now. Then will get the apex system in later this month. Then we will be ready for water.

Thank you. The apex was my inspiration and I wanted something different.
Does anyone have any picture taking tips. I've been using my iPhone but I have a cannon rebel t3i ? I think that's what it is but honestly have no idea how to use it lol.

Very nice work. I hope you used marine grade paint on that wood or it will get ruined over time from splashes.

Not marine grade but I've built many stands and never had issues. Will definitely keep and eye on it though.
Thank you. It's a becket skimmer. Was very popular back before needle wheel existed. I personally believe they skim better than a needle wheel.

A little update nothing exciting I have orderd my plumbing parts and hopefully will have them soon. The apex is on its way too I have a lot of work ahead of me with this thing I can't wait to show what I have planned. Was hoping Neptune would have released the cor pump by now but that didn't happen so I'm looking for a pump for return and manifold. Suggestions are welcome. The Ecotech is out because it doesn't match my stuff hahaha

Not a big deal, but, I had a small leak once due to evaporation perhaps and it ruined the side wall of my stand. Such a pain to dismantle the tank in order to replace. Wood warped and paint cracked one day.

That's like a down draft skimmer right so I'm guessing the swirls in it are what is going to make the Bubbles? I have a etts skimmer that is kinda like except it has small bio balls in it if I am wrong what does the ice cream swirl do? Nice build brother and I would get a ecotech u can always get the fittings and paint them.
