Have had my clowns for about 2 months. Always been healthy and ate like crazy. Yesterday the smaller one didn't eat. Today the same thing. Water parameters are where they should be and I dont see anything physically wrong. Only thing I noticed is it seems his juvenile orange mask is by his eye now also not just his mouth. Is it normal that they dont eat every now and then? I know I have experienced it with my freshwater tank from time to time. He'll chase food but then just let's it pass by. Thanks everyone

Can you get a pic so we can rule out the possibility of infection or disease?

No spots or blemishes on any of my fish. Had the clowns for 2 months and just added a lawnmower a couple weeks ago. Both of the others still eat like pigs

Not that I've noticed

Did just notice they are fighting a little bit. First sign I've seen of that. Maybe that could be it? Nothing major, just a quick chase

The timeline would be right if something hitched a ride in with the blenny.... do you QT against parasites?

I don’t believe it is normal for a clown suddenly not to eat after previously eating.

Can you take a look at this list, are there any other behavioral symptoms you might have noticed that might narrow it down?

Did just notice a small string of poop. Is that something to be concerned?

Seemed that way. Isnt very long but is still attacked

Just noticed my emerald crab didn't make it either. Not sure if connected or not

The crab probably isn't related but it sounds like your clown has internal parasites, will he eat anything? If you can get him to eat you're going to want to feed him food soaked in api general cure and seachem focus

Hasn't been eating the last 2 days. Will see if he will later today. If it will eat I'll add the meds to the food tomorrow. Thanks

Noticed his eyes are a little puffy now too. Same course of treatment? I dont have a hospital tank set up
