Cycled my new 13.5 Evo tank for about a 3 weeks.

Nitrate levels were reading high last week but on Friday I came across a good deal on a new clownfish and decided to adopt him against the possible odds.

At first it looked extremely stressed and I was afraid he was not going to make it but survived the night.

Yesterday afternoon I went back to my LFS and got the second one and now they both look happier and are staring to roam around the tank more.

They don’t seem to want to go to the surface for food (brine shrimp and Marine flakes) unless the food goes to the middle of tank. Is this normal?

Tank also started to get green algae last week (Wednesday). My two hermit crabs (blue legged and Scarlett) seem to be a bit on the lazy side. Should I get more CuC?

Anything I should be watching out or doing at this stage?

Clowns can be aggressive, but are also generally shy especially when new and usually want to stay near structure so their reluctance to go to the top is normal.

If it were me i would get a turbo snail and a couple margarita or astrea(i prefer astrea but they cant flip themselves over)
