Have a 24x24x12 30 gallon

I’m leaning toward the Hydra 26 HD. Would one be good enough or should I get two? Should I look at the Hydra 52 HD?

Just have a few fish now, but going to add coral in the next few months

I would lean towards 2 26’s, assuming you’re doing some more demanding corals than softies. You would be able to get a much more even spread with 2 26’s that 1 52 on that dimension, in my opinion.

If it’s just fish in the meantime, not super big rush for the light, bit the sooner you set it up, the sooner your system adapts to it and you go through algae blooms.

That’s what I was thinking. Two might be better than one
