Hi all,

I have a fluval flex 32.5g. (32.5 L x 15.75 W x 15.35 H in) . I am looking at upgrading the stock light which is a fluval marine 3.0. I am open to other lights as well, but I am currently thinking about going with either an AI Hydra or 2 Primes - which would be more beneficial? I could also get a second fluval marine 3.0 LED strip for the hood but not many people seem to use this light so I am not sure how effective it is.

Thanks

I’d go with two Primes so the lighting is a bit more even across the tank. I have a 120G 48”L x 24“Wx25”D and use two Primes.

I would go with 2 primes. That blue is amazing. After that if you wanted to change up later you could go hybrid and add a couple t5s Brs sells the kit.

I am going against consensus, 1 Hydra 62. You will have the power to get down deep and the coverage with one light. A 32 would not have the spread you need from side to side.
