Hello again,

I think I have room for a final frag. It's come down to either of these. Has anyone seen both in person? I like corals for fluoresce especially in moonlights. Anyways, thanks again for being so helpful. :)

^what they said

But, I love the Hawkins...it is on my must have list

Ice fire, especially the Tyree ice fire easier to keep then the wild ones. tried many wild ones that come in from aussie only lasting me about 3 months max even in our store didnt live long. The tyree ice fire had it for 1yr.

Icefire by far. Hawkins is really nice but side by side no comparison, at least to me.

Mine has finally started to grow up instead of just encrusting recently. Super Hardy as well. A few months back I had my first large alk spike that killed about 5 acros but damaged all sps in my tank, minus Icefire. It certainly stopped growing for a while but it didn't change color or recede. It's hit a spurt recently I can see daily growth

Ahhhhh I was afraid of this response.
Someone had to! Both are must haves for me along with a Pearlberry.

Both of mine are still small frags and have been fairly slow growers so far compared to others put in at the same time of the same size. Interestingly enough, I have a different Turaki that grows fairly quick, hoping the Hawkins follows suit.

If you have to choose, OG Ice Fire Echinata for sure!!!

Bummed to hear this, I have had a beautiful huge Aussie Echinata colony I purchased about three-four weeks ago from Aqua SD and it acclimated to my tank super fast, polyps out all of the time, color is coming back on it quite nicely. I hope it doesn't poop out on me at the three month mark!!!
