I have a doughnut coral that was badly stung by my lobo. I don't think its going to make it. Is there anything I can do to help it?

Yesterday after I got them separated

Yikes! That is pretty bad!! I would keep it in low flow and low light. I like to think that as long as there is some tissue there is hope.

+1.

That one may be a goner though.

I just lost a scoly (to a Monti cap of all things). It looked a lot like your coral. there.

Its pretty close to toast! I just had a cheap Chalice eat oh say $200 worth of expensive chalice. if you let die off slow and place it in low to med flow you'll have a better chance of grow back. Its worked for me for a few victims so far.

I have it in low light low flow area. The stinging tentacles from the lobo covered it completely, theres no telling how long it was like that. Should I try to feed it or let it be?

Personally, I would not feed it for at least a couple of days. Right now, the coral should use its energy to heal and not digest food.

+1 it's expanding a great amount of energy and shocking it in any way can cause it to crash. Allow it to absorb from the water calum and see what's remaining on the skeleton in a day or so.

Sooo, this is all that is left. I'm really bummed. What's the chance there is still life somewhere deep down inside and it could some how recover? Or is it a lost cause and I should just throw it away?

Bummer.:(

I never throw corals away. I always hang on to some hope or use the skeleton to grow zoas or some type of soft coral.

Same here I've had to many resurrections of all types of corals to throw away skeletons. I have what I call the "Bone Yard" where they sit with lighting and low flow.
