One minute good the next dead

So had a flame angel that was doing just fine one day and the next it’s looking like it’s going to die. Never noticed any spots on it or a film indicative of velvet. Fish was swimming eating and overall just being a fish. Parameters are all in order. Did a FW dip but I doubt it’s going to do anything and didn’t see anything in the Tupperware I dipped him in. Any ideas or is it just one of those things sometimes fish die...

Angels can have velvet in the gills out of sight. Do you treat all of your fish before adding to QT?

I do not. I’m a pretty busy guy and don’t have a ton of space.
