Okay, okay, every once in a while, I like to share pics of some of the crazy new stuff we have in stock.
Every once in a while, we receive something so incredible that it simply makes us giddy. Here is a beautiful Australomussa collected in the Solomons by our own Jake Adams...This beautiful specimen is truly the nicest one of this species that any of us have ever seen. Period. Jake said he'd be sending home some incredible pieces, but we really figured they'd be nice, but this one...well, even Jake was grinning like a little kid when we unboxed it the other day!
I had the good fortune to be the one who opened the bag containing this coral up, and I swear I let out a little geeky whoop! After opening thousands of corals over the years (a thrill that never gets old), you prepare to expect the unexpected...
And of course, this box did not disappoint.
You know we don't take liberties with our photos, and this is what the darn thing really looks like. Amazing.
Thought I'd share.
Craziness like this doesn't come cheap, but its truly a-ahem- "unique" specimen. And, we have full collection site data, and we sent the water sample from the reef where it was collected for full Triton analysis. Cool stuff, and more neat things to follow, including upcoming debuts of frags of some of the craziest and most uncommon Acros we've ever worked with!
Enjoy,
Scott F.
