One part trace element supplement with iodine?

I would point out that companies that split products into multiple parts generally do so because those same ingredients are not compatible in a single bottle.

Thus, it’s somewhat unlikely that a single trace additive will have the same components at the same levels as one split into different parts.

Im not a fan of that product, since it claims a secret ingredient with magical powers that seems to not have a believable chemical explanation (IMO).

Just for comparison with other iodine based products, what is the particular issue here? Is it their claim of some "proprietary stabilization" process rendering the iodide unable to convert further?

Like many Seachem and Aquavitro products, they play fast and loose with interpretable science doubletalk, but yes, it is the supposed secret stabilizer that concern me.

"Our proprietary stabilization process makes vibrance™ the most stable iodide supplement available."

"vibrance™ is a highly concentrated (10,000 mg/L) naturally stabilized potassium iodide source"

"Because of this instability, iodide must be stabilized for aquarium use."

"It is formulated to provide a safe source of iodide that will not convert to toxic free iodine under storage or reef conditions."

And then there is this:

"Most iodide supplements on the market are simply potassium iodide. When added to an aquarium environment, iodide becomes unstable converting to elemental iodine (which is biocidal) and iodate (which is useless to corals, toxic at elevated levels, and can't be tested for). I"

Which is wrong:

"Instructions for Iodate and Iodine Test:"
