One polyp, two mouths

I recently acquired a small mini colony of hawaiian ding dangs from a swap. I noticed about a week ago one of the polyps has two mouths. Has anyone else had this? I have only been in the hobby since July 2010 so not real sure how rare or common.

ive seen it happen with a few ugly pali's they exentually split apart kind of like a shroom would

i've had it with my darth mauls and vdm they just stayed as is. it just grew bigger lol

lol yeah it does not look like it is making any attempts at seperating. just one big polyp
