I'm telling you...my wallet already has a big hole in it! I might need a 2nd job at this point

I was just informed the owner is going to auction 1 frag on ebay starting the 31st of this month

It looks really nice!

Are the top and bottom pics with and without camera flash, respectively?

Looks nice, but I don't know, those pictures look really over saturated to me. It looks like a new wild piece that hasn't settled in or fully colored up yet. IMO, the owner should wait till that happens before trying to profit off a frag.

generally, if it is over saturated excessively, the detail will be lost in the brightest colors. There is still some detail remaining in the yellow eyes, so i would guess its pretty close. Perhaps a little "enhanced", but certainly within the norm.

Junior I think I know as much as you do about photo processing. I do see some bleeding of the colors. It in fact is over saturated, I'll bet the eyes are even more green than yellow in real life.

Geeeeze....I wants trying to start an argument.

I was simply saying that when people get really out of hand with their saturation slider, all the detail goes bye bye in the highlights thats all.

Not necessarily. Beyond the blown highlights from contrast, there's are also other blown details. Colors can be blown out too. RGB histograms are great for checking that.

There are also ways of saturating a picture without blowing any channels or the histogram.

I was making a generalization here guys come on =)

There isnt anything that cant be done in photoshop. I was simply trying to say that the MAJORITY of people, who do nothing else but boost the saturation, are easy to spot, for the reasons i already stated.

Im not saying its the gospel.

Lets get back on track of this thread, myself included.

Nice Chalice, regardless of whether is juiced a little, im sure it will still ROCK!
