Hi - can you give some more information about the fish? Age, other fish, was it quarantined?

To me it looks fairly thin? And in the blue light pictures - I do not see the spots you're asking about. A picture under 'white light' would be a big help. Does the fish have any other symptoms? Are other fish affected? How long has it been going on?

Generally speaking, white spots are 1) cryptocaryon (ich), 2) velvet 3) Lymphocystis 4) sometimes flukes can leave scarring or lesions.

Hope you can get some more pictures - and perhaps provide more information?

Those seem like some bigger spots so I am leaning towards Lymphocystis which is not deadly and can be "cured" by maintaining better water quality or avoiding stress. Also, cleaner shrimp can pick them off.

If its not Lymphocystis, my next assumption would be ich which you would need to take action and treat as soon as possible.

Just my two cents.

Images are quite dark but I am suspecting sand. Images are dark to confirm , Please post pics under white lighting
Rabbits cocoon or spend time on sand during night and can be the dots you see

I got more pictures. Thanks everybody for the help and interest!

Hello ! It’s been the second day since I noticed that. The fish was bought quarantined not by me. He’s eating everything and he doesn’t do nothing weird to me. Is the only one with this “problem” so far.

The blanched areas around each spot is a localized skin reaction. It could be bacterial, but not always. I don't think it is ich.

Do you have any anemones or LPS corals that could have stung it?

Awesome - watch to see if the spots 'move' (if so it's cryptocaryon - which it IMHO does not look like) - if not - its lymphocystis or another scar from an encysted parasite. The pictures certainly rule out velvet at this point.

EDIT. as @Jay Hemdal could be injury - but - seems odd being so 'punctate'

I will watch. By the way the LFS suggested me to do a cycle of MICROBE-LIFT/Herbtana just in case for 10 days. What do you think? Thank you !

Others can weight in - I don't think many of us believe that will do much (nor will it hurt the fish). I have no clue whether you have inverts or whether its safe for them

Could be, but just watch for new or changing symptoms. There is also a chance this is flukes.
