This is probably going to be the worst build thread anyone has ever seen. Please understand this is my first reef tank and I'm trying hard not to be overwhelmed.
If I've made a mistake by thinking this is a "Build Thread" let me know and I'll ask for help getting it deleted .
That being said, I want to share my latest glitch -
I needed 2 light brackets to mount my Current USA 2' light on my Waterbox 70.2 tank.
One of them is either over bent or under bent and the light is not parallel to the tank top.
Please look at the pictures and tell me if I'm being too critical. (;))
I've got plenty of time to return them but I've heard the manufacturer isn't known for their customer support. Has anyone else dealt with Current customer support?

Have someone stand on the longer leg and bend it gently until they match.
Tried that a number of times & it didn't work. The one on the left is very close to 90 degrees and the other is closer to 85.
Got them from Amazon (prime/free shipping) and wondering if I should return both or just the 85 degree one.
Whadaya think?

I think I have enough tools that that would be fixed in one minute.

I would order another one. Pick the 2 that matched the best and send the third one back.

Can try to bend them to match.I played around with mine a bit they still don't really match but getting ready to ditch them anyways.

As in order 2 more, compare the 4 & keep the 2 closest to matching?
I can't really afford that kind of investment, especially if customer support is gives me a hard time. Know what I mean?
Call me cynical - but I could end up with 4 different bends!!!

I put the short side in a bench vice and clamped a long pipe to the long side and believe me, I gave it what for.
I've got a lot of experience working with metal/flat stock etc. and I expected it to snap on me. It's powder coated so heating it is not an option. Rather than risk wrecking it, I have to return it.
If we were neighbors I bet we could wreck it together!

Nate, "pm"? my "addy"? I'm not familiar with either of those... please indulge me & explain.
Address I have a set laying around somewhere your more then welcome to have.

What I meant was, order two more , keep the ones that are closest match and return the other two.
