... and I notice three different beings. I may have been so busy planning to go on vacation that I didn't notice them developing.

1. These white dots on a few of my snails. Almost look like barnacles.

2. This was a hard one to get a picture of. Best described as black volcanoes with a pointy white worm coming out.

3. These tube looking things in my sump.

What are they? Are they harmful? What do I do to get rid of them?

First ones are micro tube worms/featherdusters, no way to get rid of them as far as I know, they're very annoying like aptasia but not harmful as far as I know, but thats a new thing you'll have to be scraping off the glass, unsure what the second one is but also looks to be some sort of micro featherduster/barnacle. And the last one looks to be some sort of algae, I wouldn't be too worried but I'd wait for other responses just to be safe

Yeah, the first one is spirorbid worms (harmless filter feeding feather duster worms).

I can’t tell what the second one is - you’ll probably need a clearer pic.

The third is sponges - harmless,

Small white ones spirorbids. Annoying, but not something to worry about unless they start affecting your pumps.

Black one is vermetid snail. Also annoying and can irritate your corals with the webbing they shoot out to capture/digest food. Best removed if possible. Bone cutters work great cutting them off at the base. Knocking off the "tube" and then gluing the ends works. Some people say flocculants like coral snow clog them up and kill them. I've also used F-aiptasia in the included syringe and injected it in their tubes.

Last ones are sponges. They're fine.

A couple bumble bee snails will handle your vermetids, it at least keep them in check. I find that squashing big ones with an acrylic rod then setting a snail near it helps them get those big reproducers.
