Online fish shopping?

I couldn't find reef wise on here

They are in the vendor section. I am local to them (15 minutes away) and they have an incredible selection of fish. Always super healthy and they have a special talent for getting notoriously difficult eaters weened onto prepared foods.

The only bad thing about Reefwise is that they love their rare and expensive fish, which isn't a bad thing if you've got money to burn!

FYI regarding divers den and live aquaria. I called them and discussed the QT process and the ONLY difference between a fish from liveaquaria vs divers den is 7 more days of QT. No medications or anything else is done

I plan to order from zoacollector most likely as super helpful and amazing stuff!

One factor to consider is whether you get a money-back guarantee (minus shipping of course) or only store credit. I shy away from stores that only offer store credit. And also look at the number of days for the guarantee as well.

Have been happy with liveaquaria/divers den. Did have received a wrasse once that didn't look to good and died a few days later. Called them up and they credited by card, no questions asked.

I support my lfs. Not much 2 get photo shopped and get a dying fish. 1 bad online experience ruined it all. Only if I can see it I buy it.

I agree with you Chris, but that's the whole purpose of this thread is to find the best place to fish from if you don't have a LFS anymore. All the responses are great. I understand that all experiences will be different when handling fish, I'm just trying to find a reliable place to order from. May have to do it myself, wouldn't it be nice if the vendor showed an actual picture of the fish or coral you was wanting to purchase and then QT them there before shipping and then all you would have to deal with would be stress and acclamation. If there is a place like that I'm looking for it!

I have used live aquaria a few times but they are definitely expensive and I have ordered from bluezoo and was not very impressed I really like saltwaterfish.com and if you check often enough you can catch some great free give aways I got a free flame angel last time I ordered from there
I used Saltwaterfish.com for years when they were in FL. I never had a disease, and they were great with customer service. Last year they moved to CA. I placed an order and Every fish developed velvet and died. I got credit for the fish that died during their 14 day window, but a few eeked on too long before passing. I wrote them expressing my disappoint but got no response.:( After reading about velvet plaguing CA, I won't be purchasing anything that ships from there.

Supposedly Aquariumcreationsonline.com ( formerly Aquaco.com) does this. However, they have the WORST customer service! I spent 2 months trying to get a response on when my order I paid for would be shipped, and it was pulling teeth to get a response! The guy was nice, but that was absolutely ridiculous!! I could elaborate further about other aspects of my experience, but I'll spare you. Just don't do it

Had been away from the hobby for a couple years, but I have to agree, LiveAquaria, particularly the "Diver's den" is a great source for fish and corals... My last aquarium was fully populated with their corals and I had never, ever, not even once, lost any piece or fish with them. They may not be inexpensive, like your local store, but if you are into bigger than average corals or fish that are not always available, they are definitively the place to go.

I just bought an ORA Yellow Assessor from Unique Corals a couple weeks ago. Came in perfect. While they don't have a huge assortment, shipping is only $19 and packaging was excellent. Fish was eating the 1st day.

I purchased from liveaquria and had a 50% lose. They refunded me my money, but it was very upsetting to watch! Never again!
I have a similar story. I bought 2 foxface rabbitfish from Liveaquaria and a Desjardins tang, Klein's butterfly and lawnmower blennie from Saltwaterfish.com and put them all in quarantine together (with copper treatment). The Foxfaces did not look great from the start and lasted for 2 weeks before passing away. The Desjardin's tang, Klein's butterfly and lawnmower blennie are all going strong after 3 weeks and will go into my display in 2 more weeks. No more Liveaquaria for me...

YES!!!... I have dealt with Morgan since 2004, she used to service one of my aquariums... I'm not much of a frag buyer, but she used to have really crazy Acans and Blastos... Good nice people right there.

IDK maybe I was lucky but mine all came from Liveaquaria and I'd order from them again.
