As title- I’m looking for a source of inverts that are kept in fishless tanks. I’m striking out locally.

I want to avoid doing a 76 day ich tomont quarantine on my snails and crabs.

Alternatively, I just go with stars and urchins while I QT the rest of the cuc until they are ready.

Any ideas?

I would send out some emails to well known fish sellers and see how they keep their inverts, I know a lot of places keep fish in hypo-salinity conditions, which inverts cannot tolerate as well if at all, so they are kept in different systems.

Give reef cleaners a shout. I think they keep fishless systems, the question then is how long have they had them and where they sourced them...

Yeah- I’m guessing they don’t have a batched system with dates of arrival...

So, even if I did find a fishless supplier, I’m still going to have to qt anyway.
