Anyone have an online tank retailer they'd recommend? My local situation is down to the two big box stores. No old school reef shops. Marine Depot and I think Big Al's were my old go-to's. Just looking for shopping and tank buying advice.
Thanks again!

What kind of tank?

I bought my jbj45 from marine depot. I received 2 broken tanks by the time the 3rd arrived in one piece. It was UPS’s fault though. He pushed the box out of the back of his truck and flipped it down the stairs of his delivery truck into my driveway. I was ticked. Lol.

Holy cow! That's brutal. Yeah, that's a concern LOL!
He was laughing the whole time too. Crazy Indian delivery man lol. Most higher end tank manufactures have their own delivery service where a qualified person brings the tank (usually in a wooden crate).

Marine depot did understand and told me to salvage anything from the tank I could (return pumps etc) and they’d send another one expedited free of charge.

Hard to be calm when he was laughing? Hope you let UPS know. Hey. Thanks for the replies btw!

I did. I honestly couldn’t speak. I couldn’t believe what was happening. And he’s just laughing. “That’s a fish tank? Oh I thought it was a bunch of pots hahahahahahahahahaha!” You should be fine though. Marine depot etc have shipping insurance where if ups breaks it, it’s replaced free of charge and ups gets the bill. I would imagine it would be hard to break a tank in a wooden crate.

Are you in Kansas City?

Go my RSR170 from BRS...no issues at all. Arrived on wood pallet, very nicely packed. Delivery was on truck and he even brought it into my garage instead of curbside.
hi. what's the name of the freight company who delivered your 170? I ordered one from Saltwateraquariums and is being shipped directly from RedSea in Texas
