Hello I have a 29 gallon bio cube with some Zoas, and only a couple of the polyps seem to open up. Does anyone have any reason why this is happening or someway to fix this problem?

Everything nitrate alk calcium whatever u can test. Thx

How much flow are they getting? I had a few zoas die before I realized they need a lot more flow. Now I have them almost directly in front of a power head and they love it

Wow! That’s really good to know because I bought that they didn’t like a lot of flow.

Yeah at first I did too and then I looked around and it seems like you want to give them as much flow as you can without causing them to close up

What lights do you have? What does the schedule look like?

I’ve also read that pretty much every zoa has different care requirements so it’s possible that some will like high flow while others won’t but I have all of mine in about the same area with a lot of flow and they all are doing well
