Onyx Clown Shows No interest on Corals

I recently paired my male onyx picasso to a female onyx clown. They fell in love right away. The picasso is captive breed and the onyx perc. is tank raised. They are so different in many behaviors. First and foremost, the picasso will will make corals his home especially the torch, hammer, leather and scoly but the female onyx shows no interested on any corals in the nano tank. I didn't wanna put RBTA this time as RBTA would lighten their coloration. Is tank raised clown less smart than the wild or captive breed clown............i know the movement is rather different. How long has she been in the tank? I say just give her time.

agree with rev, let them hang out for a while, once the female sees the male in the corals she'll eventually join him...... good luck

They have been together for almost 2 weeks now. The female onyx is hanging out and watching the male laying on the toadstool at the moment. She definitely will figure out soon.

with hosting my male perc always went to the nems or corals first.. then the female some time later.. best of luck post some pics i wanna see the fish!
